Working to improve the lives of everyone impacted by a brain tumour in Pakistan

Facing a Diagnosis
Dealing with a diagnosis can be challenging for the patient as well as for the family and friends.
USEFUL TIPs
Having a journal of the symptoms you have been experiencing, including frequency and time frame, can help your provider better diagnose you. Aim to bring your notes to appointments to help you remember everything you would like to discuss.
Bring someone with you to your appointments who can help with processing the information as there will be a lot of details to absorb
Ask clarifying questions and take second opinions to ensure you understand the next steps and are comfortable with the treatment plan
Your and your caregiver's mental health are extremely important so make sure to take one step at a time instead of allowing information overload
